Tonight I attended the very impressive professional kinky SLag Fetish Burlesque show at the new classy Subversions mature sim in Second Life. This members-only sex club opened its doors this weekend.

A fantastic video wall backdrop at the stage had streaming movie clips of the legendary ’50ies pin-up girl and fetish model avant la lettre: Bettie Page. I was chaperoning a 20 year old trainee to this event and she had never heared of Bettie Page… So I gave her the link en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bettie_Page, and explained her about this ground breaking cult phenomena in the fields of erotica and BDSM.

When I opened this Wikipedia page myself, I read some sad news I did not know yet: She died very recently…  She was a heroine and she’ll live on in our minds, and as you can see also in Second Life!
